Vision:

The Association exists to be a powerful witness for Christ in Arizona by serving and equipping leaders, congregations, and ministries of the Church of God to fulfill the commission of making disciples of Jesus Christ.

Mission:

Serve. Equip. Strengthen.

Values:

Partnership - The Association is a ministry of partnering churches building the body of Christ in the state. Our congregations are intentionally linked and work together according to the biblical principles and doctrinal perspectives of the Church of God in ways that are:

  • Independent but not isolated Acts 15:1-31
  • Interdependent but not mandated Philippians 4:15-17
  • Integrated but not obligated 2Corinthians 9:1-2

 Health - seek to develop spiritually and functionally strong local congregations.

Integrity - strive for excellence and integrity in all we do.

Servant leadership - operate in a climate of servanthood that includes respect for individuals, cooperative relationships, trust building, and reconciliation.

Key areas of focus:

Strengthen churches
    -Partner in ministry to strengthen and enlarge the work of the Church of God in Arizona.

  • To build up the congregations of the Church of God in Arizona in ways that impact lives to become Christlike disciples.

    -Coordinate our ministries effectively and be a catalyst for new ministries.

  • To start new congregations of the Church of God in Arizona where they are most needed in order to reach people who are not yet followers of Christ.

Strengthen pastors

    -Equip and empower pastors and spiritual leaders in Arizona to become and remain healthy, balanced, and whole.

Strengthen kingdom work

    -Provide resources that promote healthy churches that will multiply their ministry.
